Frank van Beek approached Soopknife for a logo and stationary for his new business Urban Concepts. It had to be a neutral and minimal, yet qualitative design.

Frank develops concepts for real estate with passion for the city and urban development. Returning theme in his work is quality and he persists in his ambition to find the right balance between quality and feasibility. With Urban Concepts he focusses on the (re-)development of buildings with special functions or with an exceptional meaning to their surroundings.



After presentation of the propositions, Frank selected the typographic word without the accompanying brand visual, which was a visualisation of the initials of his last names outlining the thought- and creation process and emphasizing its conceptual character.
